Huichol Beaded Art
The Huichol tribes from northern Mexico are famous for their intricate bead and yarn work.
This collection of Beaded Artwork created by Samuel Carillo in collaboration with Rojo Lobo includes Skulls, Dogs, Masks and various smaller figures. All pieces are one of a kind, hand crafted and encrusted with tiny glass beads embedded in beeswax. The skulls are available in handmade glass display cases, please see our look book for details.
This type of centuries old Huichol folk art is unique, and full of symbolism associated with the Huichol culture and religion venerating nature and in particular corn, peyote, eagles and deer.
